Relational Psychotherapy & Counselling in Worthing West Sussex
My psychotherapy and counselling way of working aims to meet the specific needs of each person in the safety of a qualified, professional relationship.
I abide by codes of practice providing a boundaried, ethical and confidential service.
Approach
Originally trained in Transactional Analysis my approach over the years of practice has developed into an integrative yet grounded Relational psychotherapy.
A central and important aspect of counselling and psychotherapy focuses on how we relate to others and how we relate to ourselves.
Our lived experiences influence and evoke our present ways of being, often out of awareness. Responding internally (within ourself) as well as externally towards others, situations, places and environments we are in.
As a Relational therapist I can help you gain your own insights while supporting you in the unfolding, healing understanding of how your lived experiences are shaped and influenced.
Difficulties brought in to a psychotherapeutic space allows for the making sense of, the working through and resolving of what is happening for you. Meanings behind thoughts, feelings and behaviours are understood.
Painful issues are welcome, given the time, space and respect to be heard and worked through while we recognise patterns, make connections and discover how we get stuck or lost in what may be wounding, painful, unfulfilling ways.
Psychotherapy and counselling is a place for curiosity and enquiry allowing for self development, psychological, emotional and personal growth and a movement towards wholeness.
People can discover a richness and added dimension to life experiencing real difference in their relationship with themselves and subsequently with others and their environments.
